Job Description

Manager is to ensure that the store is operational and that all functions, including product receipt, inventory or storage, and sales are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You must possess the necessary traits to assertively de-escalate confrontations with customers causing a disturbance within our dispensary. Managers are tasked with handling customer and employee concerns and communicating with dispensary owners and fellow managers/leads. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for your position. Your role also requires working odd shifts. In addition, you must have a significant backlog of cannabusiness experience and a passion for the plant and its many healing factors. You must manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes culture, values and the mission of Nature’s Medicines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Processes patient orders and payments utilizing POS software.
  • Covering additional duties assigned by general manager
  • Follow policy and procedure per Arizona Department Of Health Services.
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the Dispensary.

  • Create daily schedules and break times for PSPs
  • Loss prevention/visual operations
  • Employee discounts/Patient discounts
  • Enforce all policies and procedures writes up’s/Terminations
  • Interviewing applicants/hiring applicants
  • Patient confidentiality “HIPAA” Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
  • “OSHA” Occupational Safety and Health Administration
  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
  • Coach and support new and existing Service Providers
  • Suggest sales training programs and techniques
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
  • Handle complaints from customers
  • Research emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable
  • Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines
  • Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff

Qualifications & Education

  • Management experience: 2+ years
  • High school diploma
